Primary school children in Nantwich are being urged to enter a Christmas poster competition run by Cheshire Fire Service.
Youngsters can design their own Christmas poster for the service, and the winner will be published on the fire service’s website to promote fire safety during the festive season.
The Christmas poster design is to be based on the following question; How do you keep your family safe from fire at Christmas?
Children can enter into three categories - Reception/Year 1/Year 2; Year 3/Year 4; Year 5/Year 6.
Closing date for entries is November 26. Final selection will take place on November 30.
Winners will be published in the local media and on the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service website for members of the public to vote on their favourite poster.
Winners will be able to serve as a Community Firefighter for the day.
