Nantwich Town notched their sixth consecutive victory with a memorable win at neighbours Northwich Victoria in the FA Cup. Goals from Darren Moss and Sean Cooke earned the Dabbers a 2-1 win and £4,500 prize money. And they have goalkeeper Jonathan Brain to thank after a man of the match performance.

Nantwich Town notched a second successive league victory with an impressive 3-1 win away at FC United of Manchester tonight (September 14). The Dabbers turned in an excellent performance in front of 1,350 supporters at Bury’s Gigg Lane, and crashed in three second half goals to seal all three points.

Two goals by Ben Mills (pictured) helped Nantwich Town register their first point of the season in a pulsating 4-4 draw away at Chasetown. But it could have been so much better for the Dabbers, who led three times during the game, having to settle for a point when the hosts scored a stoppage time equaliser.

Jimmy Quinn’s Nantwich Town continued their 2011-12 preparations with an impressive 3-0 win at home to a Stoke City XI at the Weaver Stadium. New signings Marco Adaggio and Ben Mills were among the goals as the Dabbers put the Potters to the sword.

Nantwich Town will host Cheshire neighbours Chester FC in a plum August Bank Holiday clash after the Evo-Stik Premier League fixtures for 2011-12 were unveiled. It will be the first time the two sides have clashed in league competition for 80 years and should pack the Weaver Stadium to the proverbial rafters.
