Nantwich Food and Drink Festival organisers are promising an even tastier array of attractions when the popular “feastival” returns to the town centre this week. The event is free of charge and offers more than 400 attractions across the heart of the town in shops and marquees.

Campaigners fighting to prevent more housing development in the Stapeley area of Nantwich have launched a new website to encourage others to join the protest. The site, www.protectstapeley.org.uk, highlights fears over potential development of 1,300 homes on land between Broad Lane, London Road,  Peter De Stapleigh Way, and the bridleway known as Deadman’s Lane.

Nantwich Food and Drink Festival organisers have welcomed new sponsors as the town prepares itself for its September ”feastival”. Event safety and security firm ESTC, of Nantwich, is providing stewards to help visitors find the attractions spread across town over the weekend September 23-25.
