Kevin Street and Darren Tinson have been appointed as the new managers of Nantwich Town on a permanent basis, the club revealed today. Street and Tinson took over in a temporary caretaker role after the departure of Peter Hall in March.

Nantwich Town put a turbulent week to one side by defeating bottom of the table Durham City 2-0. First-half goals from Darren Tinson, on 11 minutes, and Jake Sedgemore in the 35th minute were enough to secure a comfortable victory on the road.

Nantwich Town players were “shocked” when axed boss Peter Hall told them he was leaving the club. Dabbers striker Michael Lennon told how Hall gathered his players together at training on Thursday night and revealed he was departing. The club announced yesterday morning (March 26) that Hall had left by mutual consent.
