A pub in Nantwich is applying  to extend its drinking and live music hours, despite being investigated over complaints of late night noise. The White Horse pub in Pillory Street wants to extend its drinking hours to 2am indoors seven days a week, and extend live entertainment licence to 2.30am.

A former pet shop in Nantwich could become another takeaway or coffee shop if plans go ahead. Proposals have been submitted to change the use of the old Pets First store on Pillory Street to allow it to serve hot food and drinks.

A talk by Michelle Desilets, director of Orangutan Land Trust, at the Nantwich Museum has been cancelled. It was due to take place tonight (July 14) at 7.30pm. The next talk at the Pillory Street venue is now scheduled for Thursday July 21.
