A fruity weekend will be on offer at Reaseheath College in Nantwich as part of a national celebration of the English apple. The free two-day festival on October 15-16 will feature rare varieties from all over the country, some dating back to Roman times.

A new food and drink centre which will help businesses meet a growing demand for quality British food was officially opened at Reaseheath College in Nantwich. Geoff Russell, Chief Executive of the Skills Funding Agency, toured the college’s new Food Innovation Centre and unveiled a plaque to mark his visit.

Sporty students and staff from Reaseheath College in Nantwich went the extra mile to bring in record breaking funds for charity. Swimming, cycling, climbing and walking challenges were among events which raised over £16,500 for the North West Air Ambulance (NWAA), making this year’s RAG (Raising and Giving) efforts the best ever.
